約3年ぶりのフル・アルバム。前作『A Long Day』以降にリリースされたシングル曲"エスパー""セダン"で見せたポップさが、本作にも反映されている。曲単位でじっくり聴くとバンド・アンサンブルやアレンジは緻密に構築されていて、一曲のなかで緩やかに曲の風景は変化していく。曲の背景を埋めるギター・ノイズや浮遊感があるキーボードの音色など、ミニマムなバンド・サウンドに装飾を加えながら、幾何学的に音を配置して美しい抽象画のようなサウンドを展開。リズムも手が込んでいるが、通して聴いた時に心地良さを感じさせる理由は、曲作りの巧みさであり、メロディーの良さであり、川辺素の淡い歌声の魅力だろう。美しい幻が目の前を通り過ぎたような、不思議な余韻が残る作品だ。
